Getting Here

You can view a MAP here.

There is only a small airport in the area for charter planes. Most of our patrons arrive by rail or auto. We will be glad to help you with your travel arrangements, ticket reservations, and car or bike rentals.

By Rail

The nearest rail station is in the city of Saumur. Service to Saumur are available via Tours, St. Pierre des Corps, or Angers St. Laud. From Paris, the train leaves De Gaulle airport or Gare de Montparnasse and takes about two hours. You may check schedules and book on-line by visiting Rail Europe. Upon request, we will pick you up at the Saumur train station and bring you to the mill or the local car rental agency if you desire.

By Auto

Le Moulin Brégeon is located near the historic village of Linières Bouton, 25 km north of Saumur. It is four hours southwest of Paris by car.

From Saumur:  Go north on Route D-767, in the direction of Le Lude, and watch for the  sign (turn left) to Linières Bouton. The  turn off is 7 km north of  Vernantes and 7 km south of Noyant.

From D-767: If coming from the north, take a right onto D-62. If coming from the south, take a left onto D-62. Proceed 1.4 km, passing the small town of Linières Bouton and crossing two small bridges. After the crossing the second bridge, take the first left at a four-way intersection. Proceed down a small road and take the second left, marked by a small white sign reading “Le Moulin Brégeon.”

Alternatively, you can call us from Linières Bouton and we will come to show you the way to the mill. The village pay phone is located in front of the old school house.

If you plan to use online map tools to plot your route, designate your destination as Linières Bouton then follow the instructions above. As with many places in the countryside, we do not have a street address and our location does not always accurately appear on web maps.

When in France, remember to add a zero to the telephone number: dial 02 41 82 30 54. Also, most French pay phones operate with phonecards (coins not accepted), which should be obtained beforehand. Keep in mind, if you are carrying a mobile phone, coverage can be very spotty outside of large towns. Please let us know in advance what time you expect to arrive at the mill so we can look out for you.

Bon Voyage!
