We at the Moulin Brégeon will work with you to fashion your perfect wedding day. Within your budget, we will incorporate your choice of style and colors, realizing your vision by helping you with invitations and favors; creating your wedding cake; ensuring excellent floral arrangements; setting the various parts of your ceremony within  beautiful locations; and - of course - transporting, lodging, feeding, and entertaining your guests. If you plan for more guests than can sleep comfortably at the mill, we will also ensure arrangements at a charming auberge nearby, or even a 16th century chateau!

Sample Wedding Package

Day 1

1. • Guest arrive, pick-up arranged from Saumur train station or Saumur airport (for guests arriving on chartered flights).
   

2. • Welcome Dinner outdoors by candlelight: a 4 course dinner of gourmet French cuisine including regional specialty of fouées (artisanal bread that will be baked at the premises by skilled local pâtisseriers) and a selection of fine wines from Loire Valley vineyards.
   

Day 2

1. • Breakfast.
   

2. • Excursion to the the town of Saumur and its Farmer’s Market, followed by picnic lunch at the banks of the Loire River.
   

3. • Rehearsal Dinner at Rochemenier troglodyte caves with fine wine, accompanied by live French jazz music.
   

Day 3

To celebrate  the wedding day, Moulin Brégeon will be decorated with a white tent and fresh flowers. Decorations will include everything from the Bride’s and bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonniers for the Groom and best men, the wedding cake, table centerpieces and place settings,  accent lighting, to party favors and gift bags for guests.

1. • Breakfast.
   

2. • Stylists, coiffeurs and their assistants will arrive at the Moulin to prepare the Bridge, Groom and wedding party for the day’s festivities.
   

3. • Light lunch is served on the premises.
   

4. • Afternoon Ceremony at Le Lorux Chapelle.
   

5. • Bride and Groom will be transported to and from the chapel by horse-drawn carriage.
   

6. • Wreaths of flowers and candles will be floated in the stream to welcome the new Bride and Groom back to the Moulin.
   

7. • Photographer and/or videographer will be on site to take photos and videos of the wedding party.
   

8. • Vin d’honneur at the Moulin Brégeon gardens with cocktails and fine Loire Valley sparkling, red and white wines accompanied by hors d’oeurves. Live French music will accompany the events of the evening.
   

9. • Wedding Dinner, a 4 course French gourmet dinner will be served with cocktails and fine wines in the tent in accordance with dietary restrictions previously specified by the hosts and guests.
   

10. • After-Dinner party. Custom audio and video equipment can be set up with advance request.
    

11. • Bride and Groom will retire to the Latham River Honeymoon Cottage which will be dressed with rose petals and a gift of champagne and fine chocolates for the newlyweds.
    

Day 4

1. • Brunch. Close family and friends are invited back to Moulin Brégeon to enjoy a late breakfast with freshly baked goods and eggs from the mill’s own geese.
   

1. • Depart. Guests leaving the region will be dropped off at the Saumur train station.
